Maths tuition
I offer maths teaching and support up to GCSE Maths / Level 2 Functional Skills Maths within the Maidenhead area. Your lesson will be tailored to your individual needs and requirements.
- Regular weekly or fortnightly lessons
- Occasional lessons as required
- Individual lessons to focus on a particular topic
- Catch up sessions before returning to school
Lesson prices:
- One hour lesson £40 at your home or £35 online
- Introductory half-hour lesson free

My experience
I have taught maths for over twenty years at a local FE college, both to young people and to adults, up to GCSE level, working with students with a wide range of abilities and additional needs, including dyslexia and ASD.
Whether teaching in classes, in small groups, or through one to one study support, I utilise a wide range of methods and strategies to explain maths problems. In particular, I have focused on the basics of maths and filling in gaps in knowledge and skills. I enjoy seeing my students flourish as they become more confident with maths and improve their skills.
I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University and a PGCE.
